Quantus launches mainnet with post-quantum cryptography

Proof-of-work blockchain Quantus has launched a mainnet using post-quantum cryptography to prepare for potential quantum-computing attacks, Finbold reported. Quantus said the network adopts ML-DSA-based digital signatures standardized by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology in 2024 and was designed to respond to future quantum attacks without a separate migration.
