XRP Healthcare, an XRPL-based blockchain and healthcare project, announced on its official X account that it is shutting down. The project said it had spent heavily over the past three years while enduring a bear market, continuing to invest in the ecosystem, and pursuing exchange listings, but failed to deliver results. It added that a hack involving XRPH on Sept. 3 increased financial and operational pressure, and the team is now coordinating delisting schedules for its XRPH and XRPHAI tokens with exchanges.
A security incident on Sept. 3 affected 4,011 XRPH wallet users, with about $452,000 worth of XRPH stolen. Following the shutdown announcement, XRPH fell about 80%. The token was trading at $0.0006097, down 80%, according to CoinMarketCap.
