Albuquerque bans all crypto ATMs

The Albuquerque City Council, in the largest city in New Mexico, passed an ordinance banning cryptocurrency ATMs over fraud and criminal misuse, Decrypt reported. Under the measure, crypto ATM operators and venues hosting the machines must remove them within 45 days of notice. Cashier-assisted cryptocurrency transactions are also covered by the ban.
