Kelp DAO freezes wallet for 24 hours over suspicious activity, says rsETH is safe

Kelp DAO said via X it detected potentially suspicious activity at a specific address beginning with 0xc70f that received rsETH a few hours earlier, and applied a 24-hour precautionary freeze to the address. During that period, rsETH deposits and withdrawals from the wallet will be restricted, Kelp DAO said. Kelp DAO added its contracts remain secure, rsETH is fully collateralized, and all operations, including minting, withdrawals, and integrations with external protocols, are continuing normally. The project also said users do not need to take any action. Kelp DAO suffered a $292 million hack in April 2026.
