Dormant 3,790 BTC moved in September through Sept. 15

A total of 3,790 BTC that had been long dormant moved between Sept. 1 and Sept. 15, according to Bitcoin News. The coins came from wallets created between 2010 and 2017, including 113 BTC, worth about $8.8 million, that moved for the first time since 2013. The largest transfer was 1,260 BTC from a wallet created in 2016 on Sept. 6. Bitcoin News said 62% of dormant BTC moved this month was transferred over the weekend.
