About 290 people worldwide hold more than $100M in crypto assets

About 290 people worldwide are estimated to hold more than $100 million in crypto assets, U.Today Blockchain reported, citing Henley & Partners’ 2026 Crypto Wealth Report. As of Aug. 31, the number of crypto millionaires stood at 135,694, including 92,272 people holding more than $1 million worth of BTC. The global crypto-holding population was estimated at about 742 million. In the country-by-country crypto adoption index, Singapore ranked first for a fourth straight year, followed by the UAE, Hong Kong, the U.S. and Switzerland.
