Ripple expands XRP, RLUSD payment support for AI agents

Ripple will support the Machine Payment Protocol, or MPP, jointly developed by Stripe and Tempo in version 1.1 of the XRP Ledger AI Starter Kit, CoinDesk reported. The update will allow AI agents to automatically pay for online services such as data and computing with XRP or RLUSD. It also adds the Open Wallet Standard, a common interface for managing wallets across multiple blockchains.
