U.S. banking infrastructure firm Column adds direct USDC and USDT payment handling

U.S. banking infrastructure provider Column has introduced a feature that directly handles USDC and USDT transfers and receipts, as well as fiat conversion and settlement on its in-house ledger, Crypto Briefing reported. The addition allows Column’s fintech clients to send and receive stablecoins alongside traditional payment rails through a single API and convert them into fiat currency. Solana is the default network, while other blockchains including Ethereum are also supported.
