US Senate Banking Committee to hold Sept. 22 prediction market roundtable

The U.S. Senate Banking Committee is expected to hold a prediction market roundtable next week attended only by Republican senators, Punchbowl News reported. The meeting is scheduled for Sept. 22, and no formal agenda or participant list has been disclosed. In June, the House Financial Services Committee held a roundtable made up only of Republican lawmakers, with executives from Kalshi, Polymarket and Robinhood in attendance.
