Crypto payments platform RedotPay said it has obtained its first lending licenses in Idaho and Nebraska, with applications for additional licenses pending in more than 20 other U.S. states.
The company is pursuing a lending service that would let users borrow against BTC, ETH and stablecoins without selling their holdings. RedotPay plans to expand in the U.S. market by linking the business with existing payment networks.
According to Galaxy Research, the crypto-backed lending market totaled $56.16 billion in the second quarter of 2026. RedotPay said it now has more than 8 million users, and its cumulative payment processing volume has exceeded $14 billion.
