Crypto analyst Darkfost said a bull-market reversal signal has emerged as Bitcoin’s short-term holder, or STH, realized price moved above the realized price of active long-term holders, or LTHs. According to the analyst, this is the fifth time the signal has appeared.
Darkfost said active long-term holders refer to long-term investors holding BTC that has moved at least once over the past seven years. The method excludes coins that have remained dormant for extended periods when calculating the average acquisition price. The analyst added that more than 3.5 million BTC has not moved for over 10 years, and that amount has been increasing by an average of 8,000 to 30,000 BTC per month.
Darkfost also said liquidity inflows through ETFs have been supporting the recent bullish reversal, while cautioning the indicator does not confirm a bull market and could still be invalidated.
