Kelp DAO sues LayerZero, co-founder over rsETH bridge hack

Kelp DAO said on X it has filed a lawsuit against LayerZero and co-founder Bryan Pellegrino over this year’s rsETH LayerZero bridge hack. In the complaint, Kelp DAO argued the hack stemmed from security failures on LayerZero’s side, alleging the company did not share vulnerabilities and risks inherent in its technology and failed to prevent intrusions into its security infrastructure, which allowed the attacker to exploit them. Kelp DAO was previously hit by a $292 million hack in April.
