Tether froze 218,000 USDT held at an address tied to funds stolen from Bitget. The address was linked to Bitget’s initial theft address after three transfers, and no notable fund movement was identified for more than two and a half hours after it was discovered. Circle had earlier frozen 100,000 USDC held at a related address seven hours earlier.
