Coinbase CEO says crypto, stablecoins to become key payment rails for AI agents

Cryptocurrencies and stablecoins will become the main payment methods for AI agents, Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, the largest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange, said. Armstrong said the number of AI agents will keep rising, and the number of agents requiring transactions will increase as well, making cryptocurrencies and stablecoins their primary means of payment.
