DB Securities to expand Ethereum-based STO and RWA business

DB Securities plans to expand its digital asset business with a focus on security tokens and real-world assets, Digital Asset reported. The South Korean brokerage aims to broaden its business beyond domestic real-asset tokenization into links with global capital markets using the Ethereum ecosystem. Speaking at the institutional session of the annual conference 'Ethereum Korea One: Genesis' held in Seoul on Sept. 28, DB Securities CEO Kwak Bong-seok said digital assets, with Ethereum at the center, are becoming a key pillar of global financial infrastructure, and added South Korean traditional financial institutions should also play a role at the center of that shift.
