Four Greek crypto firms secure MiCA registration in first for Greece

Greece has produced its first businesses registered under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation, Cointelegraph reported. The Greek entities currently registered with the European Securities and Markets Authority, or ESMA, are BCash, Xenios Blockchain Group, Capital Wallet Greece and Piraeus Bank. Meanwhile, Greece’s Hellenic Capital Market Commission fully denied reports that European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde intervened in Binance’s Greek MiCA licensing application process.
