Trader Killa says BTC structure differs from past cycles, keeps $90K target

September 30, 2026, 2:32 AM
Cryptocurrency trader Killa said on X the current market structure is clearly different from past cycles and BTC still has a strong chance of rising to $90,000. Killa added that when BTC rebounded to $25,000 in 2023, it failed to post a meaningful close or high above that level and quickly pulled back. By contrast, BTC is now moving sideways above $83,000, a previous high that it broke after setting a higher high on the weekly chart. Killa also said the maximum drawdown in the previous bear market was around 77%, compared with about 54% this time. Applying a pattern of gradually narrowing returns and pullbacks, Killa said BTC could rise to $126,000 while seeing major corrections limited to around 10% to 15%. From the current price, a 10% decline would put BTC near $78,000, while a 15% drop would place it near $74,000.
