Arthur Hayes pushes Flop Network for AI agent payments

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes said at Korea Blockchain Week 2026 that none of the existing digital currencies, including Bitcoin (BTC) and stablecoins, can yet serve as a native currency for AI agents, and that he is advancing a new project, Flop Network, to target that demand. He said Flop Network aims to build payment infrastructure that allows AI agents to send and receive payments autonomously.
