Min Byoung-dug says South Korea aims to complete won stablecoin law this year

Min Byoung-dug, senior vice chair of the Democratic Party’s policy committee, said most parts of South Korea’s second-phase digital asset legislation tied to stablecoins are expected to be completed this year, signaling plans to pass the bill within the year.
Speaking at Solana Summit Korea in Seoul today, Min said the National Assembly would hold responsible discussions on a basic digital asset law that balances innovation, financial stability and user protection, according to Edaily.
