Ethereum Foundation backs Vyper compiler security effort with $100K

The Ethereum Foundation will provide $100,000 to support development of a formally verified compiler for the smart contract language Vyper, Crypto Briefing reported. Vyper-based smart contracts currently handle more than $2 billion in total value locked across DeFi protocols including Curve and Yearn.
