Hippocrat Labs signs South Korea hospital distribution deal for Medisafe with Daewoong

Hippocrat Labs, the operator of the Hippo Protocol ecosystem, said on Oct. 1 it signed a domestic distribution rights agreement with Daewoong Pharmaceutical for Medisafe, a DApp-based hospital data backup and recovery solution. Under the deal, Medisafe will be distributed to hospitals in South Korea through Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s nationwide hospital sales network. Medisafe uses Hippo Protocol infrastructure to store data in distributed encrypted form and is designed to allow recovery even if operational data is encrypted in a ransomware attack. Data integrity is recorded on-chain.
