Kraken completes acquisition of TradeStation crypto infrastructure assets

Kraken disclosed it has completed the acquisition of TradeStation’s cryptocurrency-related infrastructure assets. TradeStation is a platform that provides online trading brokerage services. The deal appears aimed at expanding Kraken’s digital asset infrastructure capabilities. Kraken’s parent company, Payward, had previously said it spent billions of dollars on acquisitions and investments over the past two years as it pursues a strategy of integrating trading, banking, asset management, and institutional services into a single financial infrastructure.
