MetaMask-run Lido ETH validators expected to exit by Oct. 7

ETH validators operated by MetaMask Staking and participating in Lido are expected to complete their exit by Oct. 7 at the latest, Decrypt reported. According to Lido, the process of exiting, withdrawing ETH, and rejoining the Lido protocol could take as long as 45 days. The move is a precautionary step following an earlier security incident involving part of MetaMask’s infrastructure. Lido said stETH holders do not need to take any separate action.
