EIP-8363 ETH issuance proposal withdrawn from Hegotá upgrade consideration

Proposers of EIP-8363 have withdrawn the Ethereum issuance policy change from consideration for the Hegotá upgrade, The Block reported. The proposal centers on removing additional incentives for staking participation above 50% of ETH’s total supply. The proposers said Ethereum’s issuance policy should be discussed through a separate process rather than as part of a network upgrade.
