European exchange 21bitcoin launches interest payments on euro balances

European crypto trading platform 21bitcoin has launched an interest payment service for euro balances, Bitcoin Magazine reported. The platform pays an annual interest rate of 1.21% on euro balances and also offers an option to receive interest in Bitcoin without conversion fees. The rate is variable, German withholding tax applies, and there is no minimum deposit requirement or lock-up period for withdrawals.
