Core Lightning urges update as attackers target outdated nodes

Core Lightning, a major payment software provider for the Bitcoin Lightning Network, urged operators using version 26.06.7 or earlier to update to the latest version immediately. In a post on X, the company said it had received reports that attackers were targeting nodes without the security patch and said keeping nodes up to date was important to protect funds.
