NEAR Intents lead says full $3.8M stolen in hack has been returned

October 02, 2026, 4:18 PM
Alex Shevchenko, who leads cross-chain protocol NEAR Intents, said on X that all funds stolen in a hack worth about $3.8 million had been returned and the related investigation would be halted. Shevchenko added that instead of carrying out service-disrupting attacks, users should use the bug bounty program. He had previously warned that the attacker had been identified and called for the funds to be returned within 48 hours.
