Aave Labs proposes foundation to unify brand and intellectual property

Aave Labs has proposed establishing a foundation to unify the Aave brand and intellectual property, according to The Defiant. Under the proposal, the foundation would hold Aave IP under DAO oversight. In the first phase, Aave Labs plans to set up a legal entity in the Cayman Islands and appoint independent officers, while any transfer of trademarks, domains and the codebase would be decided through a later governance vote.
