Greek police arrest 17 in $8M local crypto fraud ring

Greek police have uncovered a fraud ring targeting cryptocurrency investors and arrested 17 people, including nine military personnel, local media outlet Protothema reported. According to the report, the group is estimated to have defrauded victims of more than €8 million ($8.8 million), with around 10,000 people affected. Police have so far seized €280,000 ($308,000).
