SwissBorg joins EURØP euro stablecoin consortium

Crypto platform SwissBorg has joined the Eurøpe Consortium as a founding member to help expand the euro-denominated stablecoin EURØP ecosystem. Other participants include EURØP issuer Schuman Financial, eToro and LCX. EURØP is an electronic money token under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation, or MiCA. The token is fully backed by euro reserve assets and also maintains a separate 2% reserve fund. It is currently issued across five networks: Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Polygon and XRPL.
