Tanzanian travel agency adds BTC payments for safari and other tours

Tanzanian travel agency Zatatep Tours now accepts Bitcoin (BTC) payments for travel packages including wildlife-viewing trips, Mount Kilimanjaro treks and Zanzibar beach stays, Bitcoin.com News reported. Travelers can pay in BTC after setting their itinerary and accommodations, and once payment is confirmed, park entry fees and lodging reservations are processed the same way as standard bookings. The outlet said East Africa’s tourism industry is expanding cryptocurrency payment support to reduce friction tied to international bank transfers, currency exchange fees and overseas card payment charges.
