Suspected Qilin ransomware member extradited from Japan to Germany

A Russian man identified as a core member of the Qilin ransomware group was arrested in Japan and extradited to Germany after being accused of encrypting a German logistics company’s data and demanding, then receiving, $165,000 worth of Bitcoin, Nada News reported. The man was also said to have been responsible for building Qilin’s attack system.
