Q3 prediction market volume hits record $188B

Global prediction market trading volume reached a record $188 billion in the third quarter, CryptoRank reported, citing its own data. Third-quarter volume rose about 70% from the previous quarter and surged 21-fold from the same period last year. Among platforms, Kalshi led the market’s growth, with sports-related prediction markets accounting for about 40% of its third-quarter volume.
