Suspected governance attack on Onyx DAO drains $2.9M in XCN

A governance attack is believed to have exploited Onyx’s XCN DAO governance system on the Ethereum chain, transferring 620 million XCN worth about $2.91 million from the Onyx treasury to a linked address after a malicious proposal passed and cleared a two-day timelock, according to blockchain security firm Blockaid.
