Eric Trump, the eldest son of President Donald Trump, said at Token2049 Singapore that the era of paying wages in stablecoins is arriving and that his family businesses are considering the option for payroll.
He said the family’s companies, including global hotel operations, employ tens of thousands of workers and are reviewing whether to pay salaries in stablecoins. Eric Trump added that more athletes have recently been seeking to receive contract payments in Bitcoin (BTC), while traditional check payments can take 24 to 36 hours to process and workers want wages deposited into their accounts immediately.
