Former Coinbase CTO says BTC could serve institutions, ZEC individuals

Former Coinbase Chief Technology Officer Balaji Srinivasan said at the Token2049 conference in Singapore that Bitcoin could become a reserve currency for Western institutions that need to prove solvency, while individuals could use Zcash (ZEC) as money for financial privacy. Srinivasan added that ZEC could effectively serve as a shield that helps users regain privacy. Srinivasan is also known as an early pioneer in zero-knowledge proof technology.
