Dormant Bitcoin address moves $8.6M in BTC after more than 16 years

A Bitcoin address that had been dormant for more than 16 years transferred 100.02 BTC worth $8.55 million out of the wallet, according to Galaxy Research. The BTC had not moved for about 16.2 years after first being received on July 30, 2010, and the transfer was confirmed at Bitcoin block height 970379.
