Standard Chartered sees all FX trading shifting to stablecoins by 2030

Standard Chartered head of research Geoff Kendrick said all global foreign-exchange trading could shift to stablecoin-based rails by 2030, according to Cointelegraph. He said he expects all FX trading to take place through stablecoins by 2030, with rising liquidity in stablecoins pegged to currencies other than the U.S. dollar accelerating the move toward on-chain FX trading.
