Base founder says Blast, Abstract closures do not mark end of Ethereum L2 experiment

Base founder Jesse Pollak said in an interview with The Block at TOKEN2049 in Singapore that the shutdowns of Ethereum layer-two networks Blast and Abstract do not mean the Ethereum L2 experiment is over. Pollak said blockchain networks are similar to businesses in several respects and not every business can succeed. Pollak added that each network needs a specific product and a user acquisition strategy to secure long-term sustainability.
