Anonymous wallet deposits $166M in BTC to Bitfinex

An anonymous wallet transferred 2,000 BTC worth about $166 million to crypto exchange Bitfinex, according to Whale Alert. The wallet owner and the purpose of the transfer were not identified. Another 2,500 BTC was transferred to Bitfinex on Oct. 5. It was not confirmed whether the latest deposit was actually sold.
