Coinbase, Gennius plan ONED stablecoin service through Latin American banks

Coinbase and global fintech firm Gennius are pursuing a service that would let users access Gennius’ dollar-pegged stablecoin ONED through banks in Latin America, The Defiant reported. The initiative is set to begin in Argentina and aims to let users convert eligible bank deposits into ONED, transfer funds 24/7, or make payments through Visa.
