FTC reviews online sports betting industry; Kalshi, Polymarket seen excluded

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission is conducting an early-stage review of the online sports betting industry, The Block reported. The regulator is expected to focus on potentially misleading advertising by sports betting operators including FanDuel and DraftKings. According to the report, prediction market platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket are not expected to be included in the review.
