Morpho hires ex-Coinbase executive to drive global expansion

Decentralized lending protocol Morpho announced the appointment of Brian Foster, a former Coinbase executive, as head of go-to-market strategy. Foster spent more than seven years at Coinbase, where Foster oversaw institutional and infrastructure initiatives spanning exchange-traded funds, trading as a service, stablecoin payments, and government-related business. Morpho said Foster also led the company’s partnership with BlackRock and its collaboration efforts tied to the U.S. federal government. Morpho said Foster will lead efforts to expand its business with fintech firms and financial institutions and help accelerate the adoption of on-chain credit products.
