Jito cuts bundle submission latency by 50 ms with Solana BAM upgrade

October 13, 2026, 10:23 PM
Jito, a Solana-based block-building infrastructure project, upgraded its Block Assembly Marketplace, or BAM, reducing bundle submission latency by about 50 milliseconds, Crypto Briefing reported. Average rewards per bundle successfully submitted to the network rose 72%. A bundle is a package of multiple transactions submitted together for inclusion in a block, while Jito’s BAM serves as a marketplace where bundles compete for block space. The change follows Solana’s recent move to reduce its target slot time to 200 milliseconds starting from epoch 1053.
