Glassnode estimates $5.3B in crypto stolen in Binance hack

On-chain analytics firm Glassnode said on its official X account that about $5.3 billion in assets appears to have been stolen in the Binance hack. Glassnode said the largest losses visible in on-chain data were $1.66 billion in USDT, 17,985 BTC worth about $1.45 billion, and $767 million in USDC. ETH and dozens of altcoins were also stolen, it added. Glassnode said the hack accounts for only a small portion of Binance’s on-chain holdings.
