Bitcoin has held its price range with a more limited decline than expected despite a string of negative developments, cryptocurrency analyst KillaXBT, who has about 241,000 followers on X, said. KillaXBT said headwinds included the Federal Reserve’s hawkish stance, concerns over a rise in the U.S. Consumer Price Index, a sharp jump in global sovereign bond yields, gains in the U.S. dollar index (DXY), the Ledger wallet hack, and concerns that Strategy (MSTR) could be removed from an index. KillaXBT added that BTC should already have fallen below $70,000 given that level of bad news, but the market has been absorbing the pressure and holding up, which could signal the kind of resilience seen in a bull market.
