What should I do if I already have a Gate account?
If you already have an existing account that was created without a referral code, you can resolve it using the methods below.

Check Point ✅ Gate allows up to 3 accounts per person to complete KYC verification. ✅ If you create a new account while your existing account has already completed KYC, you must complete KYC using a different type of ID document than the one used previously. Example: If the existing account was verified with a driver’s license, the new cashback account must be verified with a passport. ✅ When creating a new account with a referral code, please use a new email address or phone number that has not been used before. |
Re-register with a referral code after deleting the existing account
If all 3 KYC slots are already used and creating a new account is not possible, you may delete your existing account and re-register to create a new one.
Do you have assets in your existing account?If your existing account contains assets, you will need a temporary wallet to store them. To do this, let’s sign up for Binance! 👉 [Go to create a Binance referral account]
1) Sign up for Binance using the referral link above and complete KYC verification. If you already have another exchange wallet, you may skip creating a new Binance account.
2) Transfer all assets from your existing Gate exchange wallet to the newly created Binance wallet. Make sure no assets remain! |
1. After logging in, go to the Gate main screen and click the profile icon on the top left.
2. Click the profile area at the top to enter the User Center.
3. In the User Center, select the [Security] menu.
4. At the bottom of the Security screen, click [Close Account].
5. Select the reason for deleting your account and click [Next].
6. Review the terms and click [Accept and Continue].
7. Review important notes about deleting your account and click [Next].
8. Confirm the required steps before account deletion (cancel open orders, ensure asset balance is 100 USDT or less, etc.). Check "I understand and accept the consequences of deletion", then click [Next].
9. Review the risk warnings and click [Delete].
10. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to the email or phone number used for sign-up, then click [Submit].
11. Account deletion is complete.
12. After deleting your account, sign up for a new Gate account using the CoinNess referral code and complete KYC again.
