European natural gas storage at 5-year low for end of April

At the end of April, Europe's underground natural gas storage facilities were 32.73% full, marking a five-year low for that time of year, Sputnik reported, citing data from Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE). The fill rate at the same point last year was 39.52%. For comparison, the levels were 62.44% in 2024, 59.73% in 2023, and 33.47% in 2022.
