The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah announced on Wednesday that it fired rockets at the Bar'at Mustahad base in southern Lebanon. The strike was in retaliation for what Hezbollah described as Israel's violation of a ceasefire agreement, which led to an attack on a southern Lebanese village and resulted in civilian casualties. Hezbollah stated that its actions were a measure to defend Lebanon and its people.
