AgriDex completes first on-chain coffee trade, exporting from UK to South Africa

AgriDex, a Solana-based platform that tokenizes agricultural commodities, has completed its first on-chain coffee trade, according to Cointelegraph. Tiki Tonga Coffee, a UK-based coffee roaster, exported premium coffee from the UK to South Africa, with the payment made in South African rands and settled in British pounds using the AgriDex blockchain. The platform also enables instant settlements for a range of agricultural commodities such as livestock, wine and olive oil. AgriDex currently has $4.5 billion in pending transactions from agricultural partners and has recently partnered with stablecoin platform Bridge.
